This new cert didn't exist a year ago.

I just dropped a video on TryHackMe's brand new AI1 certification, and if you're just starting out in cybersecurity, I think this is worth paying attention to.

Here's the stat that stopped me in my tracks. Back in January, researchers found over 42,000 AI agents sitting exposed on the public internet. 93% of them were vulnerable. If you're new to this, that basically means there's a huge, fast-growing attack surface out there, and almost nobody working in cybersecurity today has any real experience securing it yet.

That's actually good news for you.

Most specialties in this field have people with 5, 10, sometimes 15 years of experience already ahead of you. AI security barely exists yet. Nobody has a head start. If you start learning it now, you're on the same starting line as everyone else, including people who've been in the industry for a decade.

In the video, I break down what the AI1 cert actually teaches, whether it's worth your time as a beginner, and how it fits into your bigger cybersecurity roadmap if you're still figuring out which direction to go.

If you've been overwhelmed trying to pick a specialty, this might be worth a look.

Talk soon,
